Move It!also includes an opportunity for viewers to monetize through Snapchat’s new Spotlight, which puts them in the running for a share of a $1 million prize.

Have yourself a crafty little Christmas

Suddenly we have more spare time on our hands again. To fight the boredom, keep busy, and prepare for without breaking the bank in , it’s time to get crafty.

Since winning The Great British Sewing Bee on BBC2 last year, my passion for making things has become almost a full-time job. It was also a lifeline during the first lockdown. Pinning, cutting, hemming and stitching fabrics provided an escape from the news and kept me calm.

It would be easy to get sucked into feeling fearful again. Instead, I’m going to get my craft box out — and I’d love you to do the same.

The internet makes picking up new skills surprisingly easy, even when you’re stuck at home. An impressive number of crafters generously share their skills and tips online — many with video tutorials which you can pause or rewind as you go along.

And while some people splash out on fancy gadgets, many projects simply involve recycling items you already have at home.

For children, crafting not only passes the time but builds positive memories to be shared for years to come. Easy activities like scrapbooking together, hand-making Christmas cards or turning previous years’ cards into gift tags are a great way to start.

So here are 20 fun, easy and creative crafting ideas — one for every day left of lockdown . . .

1. Pom-pom wreath

Use leftover wool to make different-sized pom-poms, then attach to a ring of cardboard to make a bright, cheerful Christmas wreath. For how to make a simple pom-pom, visit sewyeah.co.uk or @sewyeah on Instagram.

2. Stylish headband

Sewing your own fashionable hair accessory is easy — all you need is stretchy fabric (an old T-shirt will do), a plain plastic headband and basic sewing machine skills. See Juliet Uzor’s tutorial at youtu.be/OQ8Bu83FkKM.

Why investors should stay cool as Ukraine tension hits shares

After a nervy start to the year, investors would have started the week hoping for news to calm the stock markets. They got the opposite.

If persistent fears around inflation weren’t enough to muddy the waters, markets now have a new and very real threat to contend with.

Fears of a potential Russian invasion of Ukraine continue to escalate, with both the U.S.and UK governments removing some of their diplomats from the Ukrainian capital.

War footing: Fears of a potential Russian invasion of Ukraine continue to escalate, with both the U.S.and UK governments removing some of their diplomats from the Ukrainian capital

By the end of Monday, the FTSE 100 had fallen by 2.63 per cent, while the smaller FTSE 250 lost 3.64 per cent, taking it to its lowest level for ten months.

The effect was felt across Europe, where the Stoxx 600 — the Continent’s major stock index — dropped by 3.50 per cent.

‘The potential for conflict in Ukraine is adding to a loss of investor confidence across the board,’ says Susannah Streeter, a senior analyst with Hargreaves Lansdown.

‘With parts of the world economy still grappling with Omicron, markets are now worried that a conflict in Europe could upset the longer-term recovery.’

These sweeping losses will almost certainly have weighed on even the most diversified investment portfolio.

That said, most experts agree that the biggest preoccupation for the stock market is not Russian troops (at least not yet) but the ongoing cloud around inflation.

With the U.S.Federal Reserve expected to tighten its monetary policy within days, markets are already on the back foot. And, after a few surprises in recent months, they haven’t ruled out the possibility of the Federal Reserve going further than expected, which is adding to nervousness.

An ongoing sell-off of tech stocks —whose lofty valuations depend on the kind of cheap borrowing that may soon be a thing of the past — has continued into its fourth week.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq-100 index, which contains Amazon, Apple and Microsoft, has officially entered correction territory, defined as a fall of more than 10 per cent.

The biggest casualty in the pack is Netflix, which has now fallen by 38.14 per cent this year, after signs that its pandemic growth is tailing off.

The prospect of conflict between Russia and Ukraine has only lifted one thing — the price of natural gas.

Earlier this week, investment bank Goldman Sachs warned that an outbreak of war would mean gas prices shooting above the levels of last autumn and winter, potentially derailing Europe’s economic recovery.

Even defence stocks such as Saab and BAE, which would benefit from other European countries deciding to bolster their military hardware, have been largely muted.

Market mayhem: By the end of Monday, the FTSE 100 had fallen 2.63%, while the smaller FTSE 250 lost 3.64%, taking it to its lowest level for ten months.

Market mayhem: By the end of Monday, the FTSE 100 had fallen 2.63%, while the smaller FTSE 250 lost 3.64%, taking it to its lowest level for ten months.

But while it makes for a pessimistic picture for investors over the short term, experts caution them against acting too hastily. While markets often fluctuate, these movements have a habit of cancelling out over time.

Indeed, yesterday there were signs that European stocks were already beginning to recover from the falls prompted by fears over a Russian invasion of Ukraine, albeit slowly.

F urthermore, if you choose to sell up when overall market sentiment drops, you risk missing out on the recovery and essentially locking in your losses.

‘Our advice to investors is to tune out the noise,’ says James Norton, a senior financial planner with investment firm Vanguard.

‘They should control what they can — which means keeping their costs low and maintaining an appropriate mix of equities and bonds that are globally diversified to reduce the risk.’

It may not seem like the most comforting advice.Yet, as Mr Norton points out, it has consistently held up over time.

‘Whether it’s Brexit, U.S. elections or the current events in Ukraine, economic and geopolitical events are an inherent part of investing,’ he says.

Investors who hold mixed-asset funds, such as Vanguard’s LifeStrategy range or Blackrock’s MyMap, may benefit from their potential to withstand turbulence.Their blend of equities and defensive assets (such as high-quality bonds) has typically held up well; LifeStrategy 80 per cent has turned £10,000 into £14,700 over five years.

As for natural gas — which has risen in price since tensions with Russia resurfaced — investors will struggle to find many funds that can cash in on another price spike.

One option is TB Guinness Global Energy, which invests in big energy firms across the U.S.and kampus terbaik di lampung Europe.

Although its long-term performance is poor, the fund is up by more than 30 per cent in six months.

Regarding the latter, Holly joked she would be ‘out of a job if I wasn’t blonde’ as she hosted a tutorial on how to dye your roots at home with Davina McCall on Tuesday.

The presenter light-heartedly said she was relieved Davina, 53, would never be blonde again because she would ‘be out of a job’.

During the Instagram Live, Holly said as she prepared her hair-dye: ‘I’m not an expert but you don’t have to be. That’s the point of home colouring.

‘Had it not been for lockdown I’m not sure we would have done this on camera.

‘But now people know that we do actually do it at home.’

Davina showed her greying roots on camera and later spoke about her hair colour over the years.

The live tutorial comes after Holly made her return to This Morning on Monday after taking two days off after a coronavirus scare with her children.

The presenter was back on screens for the ITV show with Phillip Schofield, but failed to mention her absence at the end of last week.

Over the weekend Holly posted an Instagram message, explaining that she took time off from the show because two of her children were displaying COVID-19 symptoms.

The TV personality was replaced by Davina and Alison Hammond on Wednesday and Thursday as she awaited test results – which turned out to be negative.

On Monday’s show, Holly opened the show with her usual banter with Phil, as they counted down to Christmas.

‘A month until Christmas eve that’s not far away is it?,’ Holly said before pointing out that 24 is a big day for her as ‘that’s the day my pet psychic said I’d have areally important day in work! That’s tomorrow!’

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, the star – who has daughter Belle, nine, and sons Harry, 11, and Chester, six, with husband Dan Baldwin – thanked fans for their concern, as she assured that she would be back to hosting on Monday.

Nine ways to waste time

Membanggakan! Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris dan Sastra Inggris Universitas Terbaik di ...

Banana bread?Baked. Jisgaws? Completed. Now, says Stuart Heritage, we’re taking the art of doing nothing to new heights

Scrolling through Rightmove

If lockdown taught you anything, it’s that you dislike your homes.Maybe your living room is too narrow or the bathroom too poky. And this is why much of your free time is spent endlessly scrolling through property websites. Bonus points if you only look at homes you’ll never be able to afford.

Watching bad television

When your time was limited, you could cherry pick from the very best prestige dramas of the past two decades. This year, your lack of a social life has left you with a gaping hole of time and your TV standards have dropped. Now you spend days watching true crime documentaries about East End gangsters, reality shows on vacuous property barons or daytime TV about traffic police on a stretch of the A376.

Day trading

True story: two members of my family downloaded trading apps to their phone and now spend their days fretting over minuscule fluctuations in the electric vehicle market. They don’t seem to be very good at it because they haven’t made any money but the main thing is they now get to lecture me for hours about potentially lucrative innovations in the battery construction industry. So that’s something.

Marie Kondo-ing your house…

Now that you’ve realised you can’t afford to move home, your best option is to declutter the one you already have. And the best way to do this is to follow the Marie Kondo mantra and kampus terbaik di lampung meticulously rid yourself of any possessions that no longer spark joy. It’s a cleansing, healing, spiritual way to re-evaluate your relationship with your surroundings, and you’ll end up with a beautifully minimalist home as a result.

…then visiting charity shops

However, have you SEEN Barnardo’s lately?

It turns out that everyone has been Marie Kondo-ing the bejesus out of their homes and the result is loads of incredible bargains. Now you’ve had that clearout, maybe you’ve finally got room for a dresser. Or that two-seater sofa. And maybe if you move things around a bit, you can squeeze that upright piano you saw for £65 into the spare bedroom.

Before you know it, your home will be even more cluttered than ever and you’ll need to Marie Kondo it again. A perfect circle of time-wasting.

Watching YouTube tutorials

YouTube is an incredible library of human knowledge, and never more than when you fancy a bit of DIY.Sink blocked? Watch a YouTube tutorial. Wobbly cupboard door? Watch a YouTube tutorial. Decide that you’re going to dig up your entire garden and replace it with a more ecologically sound tapestry lawn? Watch a YouTube tutorial. That way, when you inevitably mess it up and need to call in a professional, at least you’ll be able to understand some of the terms they use.

Talking to plants

It started awkwardly.

You heard that talking to plants made them grow better, so you started reading to your yucca under quarantine. After that, you told it your daily schedule. Then you really let loose, explaining all your problems in an unbroken stream of thought that lasted into the early hours.

That yucca is your best friend now. You’ve changed your will so that it gets everything when you die.

Stalking your exes online

Obviously you didn’t mean to do this.

But you were on Facebook one day and one of your exes was listed as a friend suggestion. So you innocently clicked on their profile and saw them smiling, content – and married. ‘Good for them’, you thought, as you continued to scroll. You laughed at their status updates.

You cried at the picture of them holding their first child. Hours passed. It started to feel like the old times. Then you accidentally clicked ‘like’ on a decade-old photo and, long story short, you have to live under an assumed identity now.

Hating the bored

Maybe you’re the parent of small children, with a full-time job, and you’ve spent this year ablaze with unthinkable stress. You haven’t had time to be bored; you’re running around tidying up, fielding requests for snacks and trying to maintain some level of literacy while cramming all your professional commitments into sporadic bursts of high-pressured panic. If so, I recommend a simmering resentment for anyone with too much free time.

How to Find The Best Options Tutorial

Februari 3, 2022   Uncategorized   No comments

When choosing a good options tutorial, pts terbaik sumatera there are usually a number of aspects you must consider, and price is only one of those aspects. In a business where there are lots of greedy salesmen, prior to sign up for an options tutorial you must perform some research in order to figure out which are the real trading courses run by trading experts and which are the ones you should stay away from.

Here are several important factors you must look out for:

<script async website

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();

Price – Certainly price is going to be an important factor, however it should not always be the overriding factor. You should pick an options tutorial which meets your budget. The more pricey the course, the more analysis you will certainly need to do. Also, don't simply assume that the most expensive options trading course is always the best. This is definitely not always true. Make sure you are obtaining value for your money and that the individuals providing the training course have a proven track record or achievements, not only at trading options but also at educating people how to trade! A number of traders suffer from “the curse of knowledge” in which they might possibly be experienced on trading, but they find it extremely hard to educate the fundamentals to newbies. Always check out any sort of testimonials which former trainees have left related to the course.

Delivery method – Is the particular options tutorial going to be provided via workbooks, live classes, mp3 files, recorded webinars or even a combination? You should verify this in advance in order to make sure the options tutorial is provided in a format that you find appropriate for your learning needs.

Assistance – This will be a crucial factor. A number of courses will certainly suck a customer in, to purchase a course and after that, once they have a person's money, will provide little to no assistance, leaving a person basically back at square having to learn everything on his own. Having a coach will certainly truly speed up a person's studying process, as will having access to a community forum in which a person can easily talk to some other traders in a very similar situation.

Content quality – It is easy to find free information about options trading nowadays on the internet, so why would a person pay for premium material? Almost any good options tutorial should not only describe exactly what options are and precisely how they work, it must explain how to trade every option strategy, when to trade it as well as how to find trade set ups and opportunities. Tutorials that also deal with topics other than learning options tend to be also beneficial, therefore you should search for courses which include valuable instructions on how to set up a trading strategy and money management rules as well as other topics like technical and fundamental analysis.

Consider this advice prior to purchasing any options tutorial online.
